News from The Smoking Gun

Dear Friends:

Today's addition to our celebrity mug shot collection comes courtesy of Shia LaBeouf, the 21-year-old star of "Transformers" and the upcoming Indiana Jones movie. The young actor, apparently intoxicated, was nabbed Sunday after refusing to leave a Chicago Walgreens at 2:30 AM. Heck, we've all been there:

In a new lawsuit filed by Larry King, the CNN host claims that an unscrupulous insurance brokerage rooked him in connection with his sale of $15 million in personal life insurance policies. The 73-year-old broadcaster, who contends that he was victimized by the "highly complex" scheme, comes across as an easy mark. Like the kind of senior citizen targeted by creepy telemarketers. The week's best classified ad, amazingly, did not appear on Craigslist:

Getting arrested stinks. But that doesn't mean a gal can't try to strike a pose during her mug shot session. Just like these 18 recent bustees:

Who would have thought that a photo of Maria Sharapova's nether region would figure in a federal lawsuit? Not that we're complaining:
